I have a Patreon!

Heyyyyyy everyone,

I am in an awesome mood for so many reasons today, even though it is a Monday... lol

A little while back my amazing hubby told me about a little site called Patreon. I usually stay on top of social media and crowdfunding sites so I was a little surprised I had not heard about this. After doing some research I found out how awesome it really is so I created one and worked on it for five days straight.. tweaking things here and there, creating visuals, etc. to make it just right and launched it today at noon!

Why does this concern you? Well it is a REAL way that you can support artists and creative types like myself who love making amazing content but usually have to do so at our own expense or little to no pay. Yes I get paid when hosting and for some other services I perform but usually when I am out and about supporting events, doing live coverage, etc. I do so, or rather my husband and I do so, on our own. We of course get free entry to many events and get treated awesome at so many places but it does take time, energy, gas, wear & tear on the car and many more things. THAT is where Patreon comes in. Artists and creative types all over have pages where you can contribute as little as $1 a month to help them achieve their goals and get access to so many extras like behind-the-scenes footage, video chats and more.

Each creator lists different reward tiers so you will have access to more and more things for different donations. I also included in mine a way for Patrons to get promo for their small business from me since that is something I am so passionate about.

Even if you do not want to become a patron to anyone today I encourage you to go check out the site, research it a little and see what you think about it. Just think about this... you are constantly viewing YouTube, fb & IG videos for free, those videos generally take time, effort and more, now you can HELP them do so.

Thanks for stopping by and remember it costs you NOTHING to share a post 💚

Gluten-Free on I-95

I love traveling.. road trips, flying and even by boat. I just love to go. I didn't travel a lot as a kid.. Until I was 10 the only states I'd been to were my home state of Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia and Washington DC. By the time I'd graduated I had added North Carolina and Kentucky. I live in Florida now but my first time here was in 2002 and at 38 years of age I have only added South Carolina, Georgia, Texas, New York (airport only) and Connecticut to the list as well as The Bahamas (Freeport) and Cuba. I still have a million places I want to go.. Now though it's all a bit trickier because of my allergies.. I have been diagnosed as allergic to gluten, cats, pine trees and a few other things. I seem to have reactions to other things and need to be tested for more in addition to other health issues I have that food can complicate. This makes traveling HARD. I have to be careful at every place I go.. eating at events is completely out of the qu

Lost Dreams

It's 2011, times are tough and everyone is out here grinding to get to the top... So many have lost their jobs due to the recession and have to take jobs doing whatever comes their way just to have food on the table and a roof over their head. Not many really want to flip burgers or work the local department store register but if you want to survive we do what we have to do. It's how the country works... if there was noone flipping burgers, where would we get our food? What does this have to do with dreams? well a lot.... As a child one of the questions we are asked most often is what do you want to be when you grow up? Some ponder this and reply with whatever their mommy or daddy does, others reply doctor or fireman, some just don't know. We are told we can do anything! We can concure the world if we work hard, pay attention and try.. then real world hits... you gradute school and have more bills than zeros on your check, you get pregnant, or hurt yourself and lose a s

Good Vibes Galaxy & Audio Blogging

As someone who has been blogging on and off for years as well as hosting, recording voicework for commercials and so much more I started thinking about this blog and how nice it would be to have an audio version to accompany the words that I write. I love to write but I also love to talk and I know not everyone has time to sit down and read ALL the blogs that their friends write or even those of the people they follow but almost all of us have time to push play and listen while we move on about our lives. When I started looking into how to make this happen there were so many options available to me but none were just a simple add audio to your blog so I decided to make it work for me in the best way for me. I will be using both my blog site as well as my YouTube to make this work. Each time I write a new blog I will also be recording an audio "podcast" of the blog and posting it to my YouTube channel. The blog will have the video embedded and that gives you all the choice as
